House Suit

House Suit is a performance work that entangles commercial home construction, the forest and the white female body in the Hudson Valley landscape. An evolutionary anomaly of our times, the wandering hybrid is constricted to basic rectilinear motions. The performance draws in themes of safety, survival, witnessing and surveillance.

Materials include MDF trim, wood-look vinyl flooring, air conditioning pipes, electrical wire, pressed wood cabinet door, plastic outlet cover, hinges.
