House Suit

House Suit is a performance work that entangles commercial home construction, the forest and the white female body in the Hudson Valley. The wandering hybrid, an evolutionary anomaly of our times, is constricted to basic geometric motions. The performance draws in themes of witnessing and surveillance, and questions local picturesque narratives of the landscape.

Materials include MDF trim, wood-look vinyl flooring, air conditioning pipes, electrical wire, pressed wood cabinet door, plastic outlet cover, hinges.
